A fault code is a symptom, not a diagnosis. The distinction costs owners a fortune.
The prevailing method is to read a code, replace the component it names, and see whether the light returns. When it does, the next component is replaced. The owner funds a sequence of educated guesses and is told that modern cars are simply complicated.
Our diagnostic practice is being built on the older discipline: isolate the fault with instruments, prove it before touching a part, and replace exactly one thing. Waveforms, live data, pressure and resistance readings — captured, retained, and shown to you as the basis for the recommendation.
You will be told what was measured, what it indicated, and what was ruled out along the way. If the honest answer is that a fault is intermittent and not yet provable, you will be told that as well, rather than sold a part to make the conversation end.
How It Will Work
Evidence First
No component is replaced on suspicion. The fault is demonstrated with instrumentation before a single part is ordered, and the reading is kept on file.
One Variable
Repairs are made one change at a time and verified. Shotgunning four parts at once tells nobody which one was actually at fault, least of all the person paying.
Plain Language
Findings explained without jargon and without condescension. You should leave understanding your car better than when you arrived.
In the Meantime
The appraisal practice is open.
If a mechanical condition is affecting what your vehicle is worth — a disputed repair, an unresolved defect, or a claim that hinges on the car's condition — that is an appraisal matter we can take up today.
